hey, doc :) i’ve knicked a few of your gems and scattered them throughout the realms in my latest jam game: https://virtual-nomad.itch.io/legend-of-song where you’re fully credited. i think they fit well and glad i came across your work (i’m sure i’ll use more at some point). thanks for the pixels!

Hello! Would you like to participate in jam about creating pixel art assets not games?

So is it CC BY 4.0?

I've been thinking recently to look up the Creative Commons, and although I don't think Creative Commons is legally binding, it is something I considered. Here's for the mean time, what I will 100% let you know.

- Use it as you want for any of your projects
- Feel free to edit, add etc when needed for your project
- You do not have to credit me at all, but you could if you want
- Just don't tell your "friends" you made the pack when you use it

I'm not sure exactly what CC that may fall under, and I'll have to take a look here shortly and see if I can find a good fit. But no worries, and 100% feel free to use it, and you do not have to credit me at all if you do not want. My goal was just to create something to help people themselves create. :D thanks for checking it out

*If I choose to go with a Creative Commons, it would not be one that would be more restrictive than the four points I already laid out

CC0 - is public domain (people can say that this their work)

CC-BY-4.0 - is what you want to apply (but credit is necessary)

If you will choose one of the cc license, you should add the license into metadata for the asset pack(s):

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

Thanks for the info, in all honestly 4.0 isn't really what I want. I'll take a look at their site and FAQ in a bit and make a decision, there's a small update coming to this pack I've been working on recently (shhhh don't tell anyone ;) ) but, I'll likely update this and my other one at that time.

But like I said prior, if you're worried right now of it's Copyright Status, just right now don't claim you made it basically. If I go with a Creative Commons, and the closest to what I want is CC0, it'll be that. I absolutely do not want people to have to worry about crediting me if they're working on a project, especially that sometimes people could just forget.

You can leave a comment here to support my proposal about making metadata visible for those who are interested in it https://itch.io/t/2919128/metadata-encouragement#post-7952450

Heck yea!

I have chosen CC0

And yes CC licenses have legally binding

Nice pack! I used the shiny gold coin for currency in our Vampire Survivors-like called Deadly Harvest. Thank you!

I'll have to check it out!

Thank you for creating awesome assets!

I used your blue & red gems in my first Unity game that’s now on the iOS AppStore. I’ve given credit to all the artists whose assets were used on my instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/deltaquarantine/

Couldn't find an instagram account for you. If you have one, let me know so I can tag & follow:)

I don't have an instagram but thanks so much and glad you were able to use them in some way :D

Hello, great work !!!

And thanks!

Oh, are you planning to do a rotating Star?

Thanks and you're welcome.

I was trying to do one but, well, the outcome wasn't that pleasant. I do plan on updating this to have a rotating star at some point.

Nice !!! I can't wait to see it.
